Protectora y Santuario Scooby has finished the bulk of the work to build the “puppy” isolation unit.

For some unknown reason we can’t find a builder in Spain for love nor money (and for once we have the money to pay)

As you may know we are currently running an appeal to replace the donated wooden outdoor shelters for our rescued dogs

April and May 2019 have been the months of shuttles and military operations!

New houses for dogs

Ten years ago a Dutch fund-raising group donated wooden outdoor shelters for the galgos. They use them to take cover from the rain, snow and sun. They do go inside the main building at night to bed. These shelters are now dilapidated.

Please sponsor our runners in this year’s Medina del Campo 10k run. Christina Azharian Taylor, Dray Taylor, from Colorado, and Mysti Martin, from Oregon, USA, will run in aid of Scooby’s rescued galgos during their visit to Protectora y Santuario Scooby which coincides with the Medina del Campo 10k run on 27 April 2019

In recent months we’ve received one or two small donations directly into our bank account and while we know the donor’s name in most instances, we don’t have their contact details to thank them.

This week we went to the hoarder in Salamanca for the third time; we went to the man who has been collecting stuff and dogs for many years.
