As you maybe noticed Amélia has been removed from the adoption page. But don´t worry, she´s doing very well and is a happy girl despite of being positive on Leishmania and Ehrlichia. Therefore we decided to keep her at Scooby, the place where she found her way back into life and happiness. It would be great, if you would support her with livelihood by making her your virtual adopted pet!

Coria is a Galgo male rescued from Sevilla. He has been on the adoption page for about 16 months now and we didn´t get a single request for him during that time. He had been living in a Paddock and later in the quarantine because we thought that he would improve there because it was a smaller space with more opportunity to socialize with people and hopefully overcome his enormous fear everything. But in January 2010 he still was so frightened that Fermín finally took him into his pack to socialize him. And now he is still with Fermin. But we are pleased to report that probably for the first time in his sad life, Coria is happy. So happy that now, in July 2010, we decided he can stay forever at Scooby because we are afraid that by changing his beloved home and taking him away from his new dog mates might cause a severe damage to his just healing soul. The poor boy has more than enough scars covering his body but his soul won´t get any new ones from now on!!

Socrates is a special dog. Although he's at Scooby for a long, long time now he still keeps his distance to humans and doesn't long for their company. Something awful seems to have destroyed this part of his soul forever. But he's happy in paddock 3 where he feels secure among his mates and can do whatever he wants to. Therefore we decided some time ago to give him a forever home at Scooby since for this dog it would be a nightmare to be locked in a house with no chance to escape or hide.

Our dear giant Gabriela is still doing well and lives in peace with her paddock mates. Her mates appreciate her kindness and she gets a kiss every now and them from her friends. She’s the kind of dog that never moves quickly and never gets angry; she is just a very jovial dog. She is a a soft and sweet dog, when she is stroked under her chin she starts to groan and squeak softly. But there are only few people that have the space to adopt a large dog like her. However, with your financial support Scooby can fill their large bellies.

Miratu is another dog with Leishmania. Also for her we need wonderful people who are willing to donate money to guarantee her life time medical treatment so that she can have a happy life, together with Santina and Santos in our front garden.

Austin has been straying together with Raula for a long time before we could finally catch them after they went into an unoccupied house. We decided not to separate these friends in hard times. So they could be adopted in real but only together. And because we know that it´ll probably take a long time or won´t happen at all they are now available for virtual adoption. They are both very happy about their new life and are gaining more confidence in humans from day to day.

When Blacki was still very young, he turned himself in at Scooby. He made friends with Fermín's cat at his house and was literally waiting at his door step to be brought to Scooby.

You can also support the Scooby farm financially by adopting one of its inhabitants. In the news update of August you can read all about this, with your help we would like to build an educative children’s farm to teach the local community about this sort of life.

They are mother and son, and are successors to our dear Carlota after having been rescued by Scooby, because their former owner did not want them anymore. You virtually adopted them together, so you have two animals for one!!

He is a bit of a strange animal between the others, but he is very peaceful and doesn't harm anybody. We don't expect he will ever leave our shelter, so that's why he is available for virtual adoption. If you are willing to donate for his food, you will receive a photo and adoption certificate and Fermín will be very grateful.
