EN: Brox is an old dog,ten years old.He is medium size with long and curly hair(he looks like a sheep)and beautiful,sad eyes.He is fat and moves almost nothing.He only has two reasons to stand up.The first one is food.If you are giving biscuits or something he likes to the other dogs he barks,like calling you,and if you don´t go to him he comes.The second one is fear or pain.If you sit next to him and cudle him he likes it but as soon as you comb his hair,try to clean his eyes or ears,he goes away.It´s the same when another dog sits very close to him,ot touches him;he gets angry(he doesn´t bite,just growls),stands up and goes,not very far,but goes away.So,as you can imagine,he hates the leash and doesn´t like walking.If you make him do it he is docile and will follow you but forcibly. He doesn´t like playing,he never comes to greet you(he barks at you like saying"I´m here,come" but he doesn´t move).I feel pity about Brox because I think he has no motivation.This is not the right place for him.He needs a house,someone who looks after him,goes with him for short walks,makes him realise that we are not going to hurt him. He needs to trust in people again.

DE: Brox ist ein alter Hund von 10 Jahren. Er ist mittelgroß mit langem und lockigem Fell (er sieht aus wie ein Schaf) und wunderschönen, traurigen Augen. Er ist ziemlich dick und bewegt sich fast gar nicht. Er kennt nur zwei Gründe, um aufzustehen. Der Erste ist Futter. Wenn man anderen Hunden Leckerlis gibt oder etwas, das er mag, fängt er an zu bellen, als ob er einen rufen wollte, und wenn man nicht zu ihm geht, dann kommt er. Der zweite Grund ist Angst oder Schmerz. Er mag es, wenn man neben ihm sitzt, um ihn zu kraulen, aber sobald man ihn bürstet oder versucht, seine Augen oder Ohren zu reinigen, geht er weg. Das Gleiche passiert, wenn ein anderer Hund ganz dicht neben ihm sitzt oder ihn berührt. Dann wird Brox sauer (er beißt nicht, sondern knurrt nur), steht auf und geht, zwar nicht weit weg, aber immerhin weg. Wie man sich jetzt vielleicht vorstellen kann, hasst er die Leine und geht nicht gern spazieren. Wenn man ihn dazu zwingt, fügt er sich und folgt einem, aber widerwillig. Er spielt nicht gerne, er kommt nie an, um einen zu begrüßen (er bellt, als ob er sagen wollte "Ich bin hier, komm doch her", aber er rührt sich nicht). Brox tut mir leid, weil ich denke, dass er einfach keinen Anreiz hat. Das Tierheim ist nicht der richtige Ort für ihn. Er braucht ein Zuhause und jemanden, der für ihn sorgt, kurze Spaziergänge mit ihm macht und ihm zeigt, dass wir ihm nicht wehtun werden. Er muss wieder Vertrauen in die Menschen fassen.

NL: Brox is een oudere hond, hij is al 10 jaar. Hij is middelgroot met lang krullend haar (hij lijkt een beetje op een schaap) and prachtige droevige ogen. Hij is aan de dikke kant en beweegt niet zoveel. Hij heeft maar 2 redenen om op te staan, de eerste is : eten! Als je koekjes of iets anders wat hij lekker vindt aan de andere honden geeft, dan blaft hij, alsof hij je roept. En als je niet komt, dan komt ie naar jou. De tweede reden om op te staan is angst of pijn. Als je naast hem gaat zitten om hem te knuffelen vindt hij dat fijn, maar zodra je begint zijn haar te kammen, probeert zijn ogen of oren schoon te maken , dan loopt hij weg. Hetzelfde als een andere hond dicht bij hem komt zitten of aan hem zit, dan wordt hij boos (hij bijt niet maar gromt een beetje), en gaat hij weg. Hij gaat weliswaar niet ver weg, maar hij loopt wel weg. Zoals je je voor kunt stellen vindt hij het vreselijk om aan de riem te lopen, en heeft een hekel aan wandelen. Als je hem dwingt dan loopt hij wel langzaam mee maar niet van harte. Hij houdt niet van spelen en komt je ook niet begroeten. Hij blaft naar je als om te zeggen: ik ben hier, kom! Maar hij staat niet op. Ik heb medelijden met Brox want ik heb het idee dat hij geen motivatie heeft. Dit is niet de goede plaats voor hem, hij heeft een thuis nodig met iemand die voor hem zorgt, korte wandelingen met hem maakt en hem doet inzien dat we er niet zijn om hem pijn te doen. Hij moet zijn vertrouwen in mensen terugkrijgen.

FR: Brox est un vieux chien de dix ans, de taille moyenne avec de longs poils bouclés (il a l'air d'un mouton), aux yeux magnifiques et si tristes. Il est un peu gros et ne bouge presque pas. Il ne se lève qu'à deux occasions. La première est la nourriture, si vous donnez des biscuits ou quelque chose qu'il aime à d'autres chiens, il aboie comme s'il vous appelait et si vous ne venez pas vers lui, il arrive. La seconde raison est la peur ou la douleur. Si vous êtes assis près de lui et que vous le caressez, il est content. Mais dès que vous essayez de le peigner, de nettoyer ses yeux ou ses oreilles, il s'en va. C'est la même chose si un congénère s'assied très près de lui ou le touche, il se fâche (ne mord pas, mais grogne), se lève et s'en va pas très loin. Donc comme vous pouvez l'imaginer, il déteste la laisse et n'aime pas les promenades. Si vous insistez, il est docile et vous suivra, mais contraint et forcé. Il n'aime pas jouer et ne vient jamais vous accueillir, il aboie pour vous dire ''je suis là, viens'', mais il ne bouge pas. J'ai pitié de Brox car je crois qu'il n'a pas de motivation. Ce n'est pas le bon endroit pour lui. Il a besoin d'une maison, de quelqu'un qui prenne soin de lui, lui fasse faire des petites promenades et prendre conscience qu'on ne va pas lui faire de mal. Il a besoin de refaire confiance aux humains.

BRUJA is a nice Mix female 6 years old.She is medium size with short legs and long ears.I think she is a beautiful dog.But,maybe because she is already an adult dog or because of something that happened to her,se is a bit distrustful with people.When I met her for the first time she kept away from me.2 or 3 days later she began to come near me and smell me but I couldn´t move or,of course,touch her.And then,one day,she came to me,not very sure but she came and let me cuddle her.That was one of the happiest moments for me in Scooby. Now,Bruja is the first in her paddock waiting for me,she likes a lot being petted in her tummy and she is a very grateful dog.When I sit down she lies on her back next to me like saying "it´s my turn" and when she gets cuddles enough she goes for a walk.She is adult but active,she likes running and she barks from time to time when she hears voices.One thing she doesn´t like,is when I try to train her to walk with the leash;she is not used to it yet. She gets along perfectly with males and females. So what Bruja needs is someone with patience,who can give her time,who can wait for 3 or 4 days until she gets confident(probably she has good reasons to be apprehensive).And then,both her and her new family will be very,very happy because she is nice.

EN: When you go to paddock 8 you are received by barks,frenetic races,jumps...and among all that noise you hear 2 dogs crying,like calling you.One of them is Bugudi,sweet and lovable Bugudi.He is usually near the door or the fence,in a place where not only he can see you,but where you can also see him,"forcing" you to touch him or,at least,say hello.Then,when you are inside,he follows you while you clean,while you play with the others(he is not very playful,he is a quiet dog),while you fill the water bucket...He is a bit scared if you put a collar on him or brush him but he makes no objections;he is vey obedient and the only thing he wants is to be close to you.He can share a house with other dogs,male or females but what he needs more is an owner,someone to receive all his love,gratitude and loyalty.

EN: This dog was thrown from a car that damaged his knees. He will probably need surgery because he can't walk properly. He is a small dog he can manage to walk without much problem, but with some pain.

EN: BYKA is a pretty and young female.She shares paddock with 2 male and 3 female dogs and has no problem with them.She is active but not very nervous.She likes people and while the other dogs are jumping on you she waits patiently for her turn.Then she sits and raises her head because she loves being petted in her chest.She is very obedient and even when you are giving biscuits she stays apart,not very far of course,until you call her.She is not a tiring dog;you can be cleaning while you are with her;she will come once in a while to you but if you say "not now,Byka" she lets you go on with your work.She is a very special dog,not only because her tongue is blue,but because she is lovable and nice.

EN: CALCOS is an old dog,one of our seniors.He is a very nice dog,very quiet and loving.He likes lying in the sun but as soon as he hears someone coming(it doesn´t matter who) he stands up,jumps,runs...;he becomes happy.If you go for water,he goes with you;if you clean his house,he stays with you;if you sit with one dog,he sits next to you.He is not over-affectionate;he just wants to be close to a person.He is very sociable with other dogs but,because he is good and weak,some male dogs often growl at him and don´t let him eat.But he shares his food,his bed with all his companions,male and female dogs.He is big and has a very big heart.He needs nothing special,not long walks nor a big house;only a family to love.
