EN: Adam doesn’t seem to like people. He probably never experienced love and affection by ahuman. When I’m inside the paddock he always keeps his distance, runs back and forth and never takes his eyes of you. He wants you to leave the paddock from the moment you’ve entered, so he can relax again. Poor Adam. He needs a home where he can learn to trust. Time and patience will help him change into a confident dog.

EN: Walks perfect with leash (after a few steps), is kind an open, sits down if he has to wait for a moment (wow, he had some education probably). He is interested in cats, don´t know for playing, not in a special way interested, more nosy and ´absorbing´ what they do.

EN: Afra is in the perimeter of the shelter and she looks sad. She doesn’t come to you to be pet, but if you come to her she will let you pet her and she likes it, but when you’re done, she walks away. Maybe she’s just fine without human contact, but I believe she would like to be in a home and learn that she will enjoy life better with people than without.

EN: Aitor is an incredible happy dog who loves to play with absolutely everything! He gets along with dogs and is crazy about people. He has a lot of energy and enthusiasm, so a home with small children may not be such a good idea.

EN: Alexia is a happy and playful dog that comes running towards you as fast as she can when you enter the paddock. She loves human and other dogs as well.

EN: Ali is a little shy towards people. He is very beautiful and gets along with other dogs. When he is with other dogs he feels safer. He just needs some time to get to know people and than he would make a great friend.

ES: Aliento es una bonita mezcla de boxer atigrado. Nació en 2009 y ha estado en el refugio con nosotros desde enero de 2010. Este buen perrillo es como un boxeador de verdad. Es activo, juguetón y le encanta la gente. Parece no saber qué hacer con todo el amor que tiene dentro de él! Cuando alguien viene de visita, Aliento se pega estrechamente a la persona y no le quiere dejar ir. Sin embargo, nunca es celoso de los otros perros cuando también se les da cariño. Se lleva bien y le encanta jugar con ellos. Aliento es un perro muy dulce que siempre te hace reír. Le vendría bien un poco más de educación, pero aprende muy rápido y disfruta enormemente cuando alguien pasa tiempo con él, lo único que Aliento quiere es gustar a la gente. Puede ser un buen candidato para agility o una actividad similar. Nos encantaría que Aliento formase parte de una familia activa que le permita participar en actividades deportivas, excursiones y otras salidas y que pueda ofrecerle ejercicio, pero también momentos de silencio llenos de amor y atención. ¿Hay sitio en tu casa y tu corazón para un “adolescente“ feliz, inteligente y alegre? Aliento sería perfecto para tí!

EN: Aliento is a handsome brindle boxer mix. He was born in 2009 and has been at the shelter with us since January. This nice boy looks and acts much like a true boxer. He is active, playful and absolutely loves people. He often does not know what to do with all the love he has inside of him! When someone comes to visit, Aliento attaches himself closely to the person and does not want to let go. However, he is never jealous of the other dogs when they get some affection too. He gets along fine with the dogs in his kennel and just loves to plays with them. Aliento is a very sweet dog who always makes you smile with his sunny mannerism. He would benefit from a little more training but he is a fast learner and greatly enjoys when someone spends time with him - he just wants to please you. He may be a good candidate for agilty or a similar activity. We would love to have Aliento become a part of an active family who would let him participate in sports, hikes and other outings and who could provide plenty of exercise as well as quiet moments full of love and attention. Do you have a place in your home and heart for a happy, smart and lovable 'teenage' boy? Then Aliento would be the right one for you!

NL: Aliento is een knappe gestroomde Boxer mix. Hij werd geboren in 2009 en is bij ons in het asiel sinds januari. Deze aardige jongen ziet eruit en gedraagt zich bijna hetzelfde als een echte boxer. Hij is actief, speels en houdt absoluut van mensen. Hij weet vaak niet wat hij moet doen met alle liefde die hij in zich heeft! Als er iemand op bezoek komt, hecht Aliento zich nauw bij de persoon en is niet van plan weg te gaan. Maar, hij is nooit jaloers op de andere honden als deze ook een beetje aandacht krijgen. Hij kan goed opschieten met de andere honden in zijn kennel en hij wilt alleen maar met hen spelen. Aliento is een hele lieve hond, die u altijd aan het lachen maakt met zijn zonnige vertoning. Hij zou profiteren van een beetje meer training, maar hij is een snelle leerling en geniet enorm wanneer iemand tijd met hem doorbrengt - hij wil u graag plezieren. Hij kan een goede kandidaat voor agility of een soortgelijke activiteit zijn. We zouden het fijn vinden als Aliento deel uit zal gaan maken van een actieve familie die hem zal laten deelnemen aan sporten, wandelingen en andere uitstapjes en wie voor voldoende lichaamsbeweging kan zorgen, alsmede voor rustige momenten vol liefde en aandacht. Heeft u plaats in uw huis en u hart voor een gelukkige, slimme en lieve 'tiener' jongen? Dan is Aliento de juiste keuze voor u!

DE: Aliento ist ein hübscher gestromter Boxermix. Er wurde 2009 geboren und ist seit Januar bei uns im Tierheim. Der liebe Kerl hat optisch und im Verhalten einiges von einem Boxer mitbekommen. Er ist stürmisch, verspielt und absolut überschwenglich in seiner Liebe zu Menschen. Aliento weiß garnicht wohin mit all der Liebe, die er verteilen will. Kommt Besuch, drückt er sich so fest an ihn, dass man denkt, er will einen nie wieder loslassen. Dabei reagiert er aber nie eifersüchtig, wenn auch die anderen Hunde gestreichelt werden. Zu seinen Paddock-Mitbewohnern ist er sehr sozial und spielt die ganze Zeit mit ihnen. Aliento ist ein richtiger Sonnenschein, ein Gute-Laune-Verbreiter ;O) Der kleine Mann muss vielleicht noch ein wenig erzogen werden, lernt aber sehr schnell, da es ihm Spaß macht, wenn sich jemand mit ihm beschäftigt. Sicher wäre er auch für Agility oder ähnliches gut geeignet. Da Aliento sehr aktiv ist, wünschen wir uns für ihn eine ebenso aktive Familie, die ihn zum Sport oder zu Ausflügen mitnimmt und ihm ausreichend Beschäftigung und Streicheleinheiten bieten kann. Ist in Ihrer Familie noch Platz für einen fröhlichen, intelligenten und liebevollen Hunde-Teenager? Dann ist Aliento sicher der Richtige für Sie!

FR: Aliento est un magnifique croisé boxer bringé. Il est né en 2009 et se trouve parmi nous au refuge depuis janvier. Ce beau garçon a vraiment l'air d'un pur boxer et se comporte comme tel. Il est actif, joueur et adore les gens. Souvent il ne sait pas quoi faire de tout l'amour qu'il a dans le coeur! Lorsque quelqu'un lui rend visite, Aliento s'attache très fort à lui et ne veut plus qu'il parte. Cependant il n'est jamais jaloux envers ses congénères lorsque ceux-ci reçoivent également de l'affection. Il s'entend parfaitement avec les chiens de son paddock et aime beaucoup jouer avec eux. Aliento est un chien adorable qui vous fait sourire avec ses manières enjouées. Il devrait avoir un peu plus d'éducation mais il apprend très vite et est tellement heureux quand quelqu'un lui offre un peu de son temps – il ne désire que vous faire plaisir. Il pourrait faire un bon candidat pour l'agility ou une activité similaire. Nous aimerions beaucoup qu'Aliento fasse partie d'une famille active qui le laisserait participer à ses activités sportives extérieures, marches, excursions, qui pourrait lui prodiguer beaucoup d'exercices physiques ainsi que des moments de calme remplis d'amour et d'attention. Auriez-vous une place dans votre foyer et votre coeur pour un joyeux, intelligent et adorable ''adolescent' ? Alors Aliento est le bon chien pour vous !

ES: Anubis es amable, se lleva bien con otros perros, muy estable (vive con algunos perros muy activos en un patio) y es más guapa de lo que se ve en las fotos. ¡Tiene unos ojos preciosos y las orejas hacia arriba! Su tamaño es un poco más grande que un whippet, pero un poco más pequeño que un galgo normal. Debe ser una mezcla entre galgo, podenco y puede que algo más.

EN: Anubis is kind, good with other dogs, a stable dog (lives with some pretty active other dogs in a paddock) and is prettier than the pictures show. Beautiful eyes, ears up! She is a little bit bigger than a whippet size, bit smaller than a normal galgo size. We think she a mix with galgo, podenco and may be something else too.

DE: Anubis ist freundlich, lieb zu anderen Hunden, ein ausgeglichener Hund (sie lebt mit einigen ganz schön aktiven Hunden zusammen im Paddock), und hübscher, als sie auf den Bildern ausschaut. Wunderschöne Augen, hochstehende Ohren. Sie ist ein bisschen größer als ein Whippet, ein bisschen kleiner als ein Galgo. Wir denken, sie ist ein Mix aus Galgo, Podenco und vielleicht noch etwas anderem.

NL: Anubis is vriendelijk en komt goed overeen met andere honden. Zij is evenwichtig (leeft samen met enkele zeer actieve honden) en ze is mooier dan op de foto. Ze heeft mooie ogen en rechtopstaande oren. Zij is groter dan een whippet maar een beetje kleiner dan een galgo. Wij denken dat zij een galgo mix podenco en nog iets is.

FR: Anubis est gentille, bien avec les autres chiens, c'est une chienne équilibrée (elle vit dans un enclos avec quelques autres chiens plutôt remuants) et est plus jolie que ce montrent les photos. Des yeux magnifiques, et les oreilles dressées. Elle est un peu plus grande qu'un Whippet mais plus petite qu'un Galo normal. Nous pensons qu'elle est croisée Galgo Podenco, mais peut-être quelque chose d'autre aussi.
